5 Days in Paris Itinerary

Paris in 5 days was packed—but still enjoyable.

I stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Access Paris Quai d’Ivry, a bit outside the center but manageable with the train system, which was very easy to use.

When I went, the Olympics had just finished, so the Eiffel Tower still had the rings. Small detail, but it made the experience feel different.

Day 1 – Arrival + Eiffel Tower + Seine

First time seeing the Eiffel Tower was along the Seine.

No buildup. Just walking, then it’s there.

That moment felt surreal. Still couldn’t believe I made it to Paris.

Spent the rest of the day around the area:

  • walking along the Seine
  • crossing bridges
  • seeing the Eiffel Tower from different angles

Didn’t rush anything.

Day 2 – Louvre + Tuileries + Champs-Élysées + Arc de Triomphe

Started at the Louvre.

It’s huge, so I didn’t try to see everything. Just experienced it and moved on.

From there, everything connects well on foot:

  • Tuileries Garden (good place to slow down)
  • Champs-Élysées (mix of walking and shopping)
  • Arc de Triomphe (worth it for the view from the top)

This day feels more structured but still manageable.

Day 3 – Montmartre + Sacré-Cœur + Café Time

This was a slower day.

Went around Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur.

Different vibe compared to central Paris. Less pressure, more relaxed.

This is where I did more:

  • café hopping
  • random street walking
  • just sitting and observing

Also tried:

  • croissants
  • macarons

Simple things, but part of the experience.

Day 4 – Disneyland Paris

Whole day here.

This was my third Disneyland after Hong Kong and Tokyo, and it still felt worth it.

Different park, same feeling.

Expect to spend the entire day here. Not something you rush.

Day 5 – Outlet Shopping + Free Time

Went to La Vallée Village.

One of my favorite parts of the trip.

If you like shopping, this is worth it:

  • good brands
  • better prices
  • easy to reach from Paris

After that, just used the remaining time to:

  • revisit places
  • last walks around the city
  • quick café stops

Getting Around

The train system in Paris is very reliable.

Once you understand it, everything becomes easy:

  • attractions are well connected
  • no need for taxis most of the time

Food Experience

Tried escargot for the first time.

Didn’t expect to like it—but I did.

Overall

It was a full 5 days, but it didn’t feel rushed.

Everything I wanted to see, I saw.

No scams, no bad experiences.

Just a solid trip that actually lived up to expectations.
