Where I Stayed in Bangkok (The Siam Heritage Hotel Review)

For this trip, I stayed at The Siam Heritage Hotel in Silom.

Completely different from my previous stay in Nana.

This one felt quieter, more local, and more relaxed.

First Impression

The design stood out right away.

Wood interiors, classic Thai style—parang old house feel.

Not modern, not trendy.

But it has character.

It feels homey.

The Room

The room was comfortable.

Enough space, nothing excessive.

It’s the kind of place where you can actually rest after a long day out.

Not just sleep, but stay.

Location (Silom)

Silom is very different from Nana.

Less chaotic.

More balanced.

Around the area:

  • cafés
  • street food
  • small shops

Everything is there, but not overwhelming.

It feels more local.

Breakfast

Breakfast was good.

Simple, but enough to start the day.

No need to go out immediately.

Rooftop Pool

There’s a rooftop pool.

Small, but nice.

Good spot to just relax if you don’t feel like going out right away.

Staff

Staff were friendly.

No issues at all during the stay.

Everything was smooth.

The Experience

This stay matched the trip.

Slower pace, quieter area, more routine.

You don’t feel like you’re in the middle of chaos.

You feel like you’re staying in the city properly.
