Where I Stayed in Bangkok (Ibis Styles Sukhumvit 4 Review)

For this trip, I stayed at Ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4.

The location alone already made sense—but once I got there, it worked even better for this kind of trip.

First Impression

It’s an Accor property, so you already know what to expect.

Clean, organized, and consistent.

The room was a good size for two beds.

Not too small, not too big—just right.

Since I was traveling with Mark, the setup worked well.

The Vibe

This hotel fits the area.

It’s in Nana, so the energy around it is more on the lively side.

You step out, and there’s already movement.

Bars, people, activity.

Even going back at night, the area still feels active.

Location

This is the biggest advantage.

Everything is nearby:

  • Nana area
  • bars and nightlife
  • main roads

During Songkran, this matters.

You don’t need to go far to experience it.

Even outside the hotel, there’s already water, people, and energy.

Rooftop Pool and Bar

This was a nice addition.

After being out all day, having a rooftop space to just sit, chill, and reset made a difference.

It balances the chaos outside.

The Experience

This wasn’t a “stay in the hotel” kind of trip.

Most of the time, we were out.

But every time we came back, the hotel did its job.

Comfortable, convenient, and in the right place.

Worth It?

Yes.

For:

  • location
  • value
  • comfort

It fits this kind of trip perfectly.

Especially if you want to be close to the action without overcomplicating your stay.
