Packing for a week used to feel complicated.
Parang kailangan ready ka for every possible situation.
But over time, I simplified everything.
Now I just follow a system that works every time.
One Set Per Day
I don’t overthink outfits.
One set per day:
Shirt
Shorts or pants
Underwear
Socks
That’s it.
No extra “just in case” outfits.
Laundry If Needed
If there’s laundry available, I use it.
I’ve done it in Bangkok and Japan.
It resets everything.
Instead of packing more, I just reuse what I already have.
I Still Bring Check-In
I know carry-on only works for some people, but for me, I still bring check-in baggage.
Mas comfortable.
I don’t need to compress everything too much.
I can move without thinking if something will fit or not.
The Extras I Always Bring
Slippers
Cap
Jacket
Toiletries
These don’t change.
Simple things, but they make a difference during the trip.
Why This Works for Me
No overpacking
No stress
No wasted items
Everything I bring gets used.
Nothing sits in the luggage untouched.
Packing became easier once I stopped trying to prepare for everything.
Just pack for what you actually need.
The rest, you figure out along the way.
