Exploring Bangkok with a Friend (Traveling with Mark)

Most of my trips are solo.

So traveling with Mark didn’t really change how I move—but it changed small things that actually mattered.

Same Flow, Different Dynamic

We didn’t plan differently.

Still spontaneous. Still just going where we wanted.

But having someone with you makes the experience feel shared.

You’re not just observing—you’re reacting together.

Songkran Feels Better With Someone

This is where it really made a difference.

Songkran is already chaotic on its own.

But doing it with someone makes it more fun.

You’re both getting soaked, both laughing, both trying to survive the same situation.

It’s not something you experience quietly.

Practical Difference

One small thing—but important.

Someone can take your photos.

Someone can hold your camera.

You don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

It makes documenting the trip easier.

No Pressure

Even traveling with someone, it didn’t feel restrictive.

No fixed plans. No forced schedule.

We just moved the same way I usually do.

That balance worked.

The Experience

It didn’t feel like a different kind of trip.

It felt like the same trip—but shared.

And for something like Songkran, that made the whole experience better.
