This trip didn’t feel like a trip.
It felt like living in Bangkok for a few days.
No big plans. No checklist.
Just moving through the city like it was part of my routine.
A Slower Start
Compared to my previous trip during Songkran, everything here felt calmer.
No chaos.
No water guns.
Just normal days.
And that alone changed everything.
Daily Life Feel
I stayed in Silom this time.
Quiet area, but still full of life.
Cafés, street food, small shops—everything within reach.
You walk out, and there’s already something to do.
But nothing feels forced.
Simple Routines
Most of my days were simple.
Eat. Walk. Stop somewhere. Repeat.
Sometimes malls:
- Siam Paragon
- nearby spots
Sometimes just local streets.
No pressure to “see everything.”
Food as Part of the Day
Food wasn’t planned.
It just happened.
Food court in Siam Paragon became a go-to.
Michelin stalls—but still affordable.
Then random stops:
- McDonald’s
- KFC
- Cha Tra Mue
Mix of everything.
No rules.
Seeing Familiar Faces
I met up with Zy and Connie.
Visited their condo, spent time, ate together.
Those moments made the trip feel more grounded.
Less like visiting, more like being there.
The Feeling
It didn’t feel like I was discovering Bangkok.
It felt like I already knew it.
But at the same time, every day still felt new.
That balance is what made it different.
This wasn’t about doing more.
It was about experiencing Bangkok in a quieter way.
And honestly, that worked better.
