Why I’ll Come Back to Paris

I don’t think Paris is a one-time trip.

Even after seeing the main places, doing the usual things, it didn’t feel finished.

It felt like I just got introduced to it.

It Wasn’t Perfect—and That’s Why It Works

Paris isn’t trying too hard.

It’s busy, sometimes crowded, sometimes quiet.

But it feels consistent.

You don’t feel like you have to chase an experience.

You just move through it.

There’s Still More to See

Even with 5 days, I know I didn’t see everything.

I skipped Versailles.

There were areas I didn’t get to explore properly.

And there are places I’d go back to—not because I missed them, but because I want to experience them again.

The Simple Things

What I remember most aren’t just the big attractions.

It’s:

  • walking around without a plan
  • sitting in cafés
  • taking the train
  • small stops in between

Those things don’t get “completed.”

You just experience them differently each time.

The People

Meeting my friends there after 20 years made the trip more personal.

It changed how I experienced the city.

It didn’t feel like I was just visiting.

It felt more connected.

The Feeling Stayed

Even after leaving, there’s still that thought—

“Babalikan ko to.”

Not because something was missing.

But because it felt like there’s more to experience.

And that’s enough reason to go back.
