Bangkok Food Experience (Fast Food to Food Courts)

This trip, food wasn’t about trying new things.

It was more about going back to what I already like.

And mixing everything—street food, food court, even fast food.

Food Court Routine

One of my go-to spots was the food court in Siam Paragon.

It’s easy.

You get:

  • multiple choices
  • Michelin-recognized stalls
  • affordable prices

You don’t need to plan anything.

You just walk in and pick what you feel like eating.

Familiar Dishes

I stuck to my usual:

  • Pad Thai
  • Pad Kra Pao
  • Pad Prik King

These are things I already know I’ll enjoy.

No need to experiment every time.

Fast Food Stops

This time, I also had:

  • McDonald’s
  • KFC
  • Cha Tra Mue

Not because I needed to—but because it’s part of the experience too.

Even fast food feels slightly different in another country.

Street Food

Still part of the day.

Quick stops for:

  • fruits
  • snacks
  • random finds

You don’t plan it.

You just see something and try it.

Local Meals with Friends

Had meals with Zy and Connie.

Went to a local carinderia-style place.

Simple setup, but good food.

Those kinds of meals feel more real than anything else.

Big C Runs

Almost every day, I ended up in Big C.

Groceries, snacks, pasabuy items.

Food also becomes something you bring home, not just eat there.

How Food Fits the Trip

It wasn’t structured.

It just happened in between everything else.

Eat, walk, shop, repeat.
