I’ve already said this a few times while I was there—but even now, it still feels the same.
Paris felt surreal.
Not just in one moment.
The whole trip.
It Started Early
From the first day, when I saw the Eiffel Tower, something already felt off—in a good way.
Like I was somewhere I’ve seen too many times online, but now I’m actually inside it.
That feeling didn’t go away.
It stayed.
Moving Through the City
Even simple things felt different.
Taking the train
walking through random streets
sitting in cafés
Nothing was extraordinary on its own.
But together, it felt unreal.
Like everything was familiar, but not something I’ve experienced before.
Moments That Didn’t Feel Real
Meeting my friends after 20 years—in Paris.
Shopping at La Vallée Village and seeing how big the price difference was.
Walking around and realizing every corner looked like something from a photo.
Even small things like buying butter and bringing it home.
None of these are dramatic.
But when you put them together, it becomes something else.
The Feeling Stayed
Usually when you travel, there’s a point where everything feels normal.
This one didn’t.
Even toward the end, there was still that slight feeling of disbelief.
Like I was there—but not fully processing it yet.
After the Trip
Even now, it still feels like that.
Not in a nostalgic way.
Just that quiet thought—
“Nandun talaga ako.”
And that’s enough.
