The First Time I Saw the Eiffel Tower

I didn’t see the Eiffel Tower from the usual spots.

No Trocadéro. No big reveal moment.

I saw it while walking along the Seine River.

Just there. In the distance.

At first, parang normal lang. You see it, you recognize it. But then it slowly hits you—

“Wait… nasa Paris ako.”

That was the feeling.

Not loud. Not overwhelming. Just quiet and surreal.

I’ve seen it so many times online, in movies, in photos. But seeing it in real life—under daylight, no filters, no edits—it felt different.

More real than I expected.

I didn’t rush closer right away. I just kept walking along the river, glancing at it every few seconds like I needed to confirm it was actually there.

Still couldn’t believe it.

No big reaction. No dramatic moment.

Just me, walking, looking at the Eiffel Tower…
trying to process how I got there.
